Hungarian Products — now on our website
Since reopening, many of you have been picking up a jar of Erős Pista, a bag of Szeged paprika or a packet of Pilóta biscuits on your way out of the Hungaria Café. Now you can see our full range before you come in.
Our new Hungarian Products page lists the traditional Hungarian groceries the Hungarian Club of SA sells through its Hungaria Café outlet, with photos and prices. You'll find spices and paprika, sauces and pastes, jams and preserves, ready meals, pasta and sweets. New this season are acacia honey, Házi Ízek ready meals, Kettle Pork Goulash, Győri Negro and Bonbonetti szaloncukor.
Everyone is welcome — you don't need to be a Club member to buy our Hungarian groceries. Non-members pay the regular price, and Club members enjoy a discounted member price.
We also stock Hungarian beer, wine and spirits, including Unicum, pálinka and Tokaji Aszú. While everyone aged 18 and over is welcome to enjoy an alcoholic drink responsibly at our Club, takeaway sales of Hungarian alcohol are available to Club members only, in accordance with our liquor licence conditions.
How to buy: all products are purchased and collected in person at the Hungaria Café, 82 Osmond Terrace, Norwood, during Café opening hours. We don't take online orders or payments.
